FAQ's
Yes. All racers are required to use a RaceResult transponders. They can be purchased directly from RaceResult or rented for $5/day once arriving onsite. If you already own a chip, please bring your chip with you when checking in.
Yes, but you will have to sign a USA Cycling waiver upon checking in at the race. A credit card will still be required if renting a timing chip.
These are races, not rides, so even in beginner level categories expect to have a competitive field. You will need to train or be experienced with racing to place highly.
A support crew is not necessary, but if you require feeds during the road races, please arrange to have friends or family provide them. Wheel trucks will follow behind each road race field. Racers are encouraged to put spare wheels or a flat kit in the back of the truck labeled with your bib number.
There are several categories that are racing together, but will be scored separately. Masters 50 & 60+ will be combined UNLESS we get 20 or more racers in the 60+ category. Women’s Category 3 is racing with Women’s category 1/2, but will be scored separately (new for 2021).
Racing with teammates is strongly encouraged, but yes you can race by yourself.
The ‘who’s registered’ feature will be turned off until the week before registration closes.
Yes, photographers will be present and links will be available on the website following the event weekend to view and purchase photos.
Yes, a valid 2021 USA Cycling license is required to participate in this event. If you do not have a license or do not wish to purchase an annual license, you can purchase one-day licenses through bikereg.com. One day licenses are required for BOTH days.
Races are held rain or shine. If the weather is deemed unsafe to race we will notify all participants as soon as we make a decision.
Refunds will only be issued under circumstances in which the event is fully cancelled.
Though no drug testing is conducted by the promoters, USA Cycling has the right to conduct drug testing at any sanctioned event. By participating in this event, understand that you could be tested if anti-doping authorities show up to conduct testing.

Results will be posted onsite following each race. After the 15 minute mandated ‘protest period’, we will begin doing awards.
