For the 6th year of the event, the DCC moves to the ‘Lovely Lovelady Loop’ for Stage 3 of the event. Lovelady is a town 15 minutes south of Crockett and this new course allows riders to do laps on a 17.2 mile circuit as opposed to a ‘lollipop’ style course.
While the course may look ‘flat’ on paper, its got about 8 miles of wide open cross-wind sections, which will provide for an equally challenging finish to the stage race. The echelons, combined with time bonuses (and Triple Crown points) given out throughout the day, the final road race will prove decisive.
