You may have seen some mentions of the Texas Triple Crown series introduced in early 2022. This exciting new series pulls together three race weekends in Texas for a mini-series that offers a $5000 prize list.

The three races include the new Dogwood Omnium in Palestine, TX, the Davy Crockett Classic, and it all comes down to a finale at the Houston Grand Criterium in downtown Houston May 22nd.

The series is all about promoting teams/clubs working together, and the $5000 is a team only prize list that was developed from years of trying different series competitions. The new format creates a true test across all three disciplines of time trials, road races and criteriums, and puts it all on a more level playing field that riders from any category or skill level can have a chance to contribute for their team.

Participating teams do need to send their roster in order to be scored in the series by March 1st through the Texas Triple Crown website.

Volunteers are always needed to produce road race weekends. We have plenty of positions available whether its for five minutes or five hours, we can put you to work! We typically offer a free entry for specific duties such as driving a wheel truck, or if you’re interested in making some money, we have paid positions available.

Sponsors and Partnerships

The series is funded through race entry fees, there arent any sponsors as of yet (primarily because we didnt really try), but there is plenty of promotional space available at each event. Please contact Momentum Sports for more information regarding partnerships, vendor opportunities,
